Seconde partie de cette restauration d’un châssis de Buggy Sovra LM1 Français …
Dans la 1ere partie nous nous étions arrêtés au traçage pour le raccourcissement du premier demi-plancher.
Voilà la suite des photos … découpe et ajustement des deux demi-planchers et des coins arrière sur la poutre …
Réassemblage, mise en forme, pointage et soudures des divers morceaux du puzzle …
On oublie pas les diverses petites réparations et rebouchages de trous inutiles.
Une fois la tôlerie terminée … celui-ci part pour un second sablage suivi d’une métallisation et laquage époxy
suivi de l’habituel rinçage du tunnel pour le débarrasser du sable qui y reste toujours logé.
Une fois sec et dinitrolé, la tringlerie de boîte est réinstallée … suivie de près par le maître-cylindre et le circuit de freinage.
Voilà, c’est terminé pour celui-ci … il est prêt à partir, la suite est dans les mains de son propriétaire.

Reassembly, shaping of metal sheets, welds and spot welding the various pieces of the puzzle …
We not forget the various small repairs and corking unnecessary holes
Once the sheet metal over … this one leaves for a second sanding followed by metallising and epoxy treated
Back at home it was followed by the usual flushing of the tunnel to remove sand which is still there.
Once dry, the gearbox linkage is reinstalled … closely followed by the master cylinder and the brake circuit
Well, it’s over for this one … she is ready to go, the rest is in the hands of its owner
