Second projet châssis vw que nous raccourcissons pour le buggy Manx d’un de nos client cette année.
Le premier était un châssis de semi-automatique … dont les photos sont là : le chassis buggy Manx project
Celui-ci est un châssis à trompettes que nous passons en cardans : ce sera le chassis Manx project
L’état des planchers, du nez et du chapeau de gendarme ne nous laissent pas d’autre choix que de les remplacer.
Ici, la façon dont les planchers avaient été soudés à la poutre et la couche de chique n’ont pas facilité le travail !
(Un projet n’est pas l’autre, un châssis n’est pas l’autre … on a beau se préparer à cela, on trouve souvent pire).
Bref, voilà un projet qui commence par la restauration du châssis … avant son raccourcissement .
